Christmas Around Our Home 2025

I know this post is a little later than expected but I wanted to share some inspiration with you for next year possibly and even keep some of these memories here for myself to remember and look back on.

This is not quite a Christmas home tour but a look around our Christmas home. I guess it could technically be a home tour if you will but more like sneak peaks around of Christmas throughout.

This season I went even more classic and less fussy but I also wanted it to feel nostalgic. I thrifted a lot in 2025 especially for nostalgic and classic Christmas decor.

Our dining hutch always gets a little Christmas love and this year I kept it pretty minimal with a few items but over all I think even though it was classic and simple it still said Christmas in a more Persian or English way if you will.

And of course our new 9ft tree was the real show stopper this year.

A simple Christmas vignette is always a favorite as well and displaying our past Christmas cards is always a fun addition. These Hearth & Hand Magnolia wreaths are timeless, I simply change the ribbon color every year and they change the look drastically.

I even kept the greenery pretty simple and classic too as much as I missed having poinsettia's this year I have to consider how they're poisonous to our dogs and therefore found that I didn't really miss them at all considering the look I went with this year was wild greenery (real and faux mixed together). Fern has really been a favorite lately for every season along with dried florals.

My collection of mercury and glass Christmas trees are a classic not sure if and when I'll tire of them but for now I still enjoy displaying them.

This metal wreath was also a thrifted find that was a little brighter green with red berries and I simply spray painted it a darker great with a a few sprays of antique gold over the berries and I just love how it turned out. A little write velvet ribbon just really brought it home and gave our utilitarian wall the holiday spirit it needed.

Although we kept things simple it was really magical having all the classic Christmas decor to our liking and not to based on trends this year. I really wanted to go with a feeling and this really expressed how Christmas felt to us or me at least this past year.

I think for me trends might be a thing of the past or for the most part at least, I'm learning to stick to my own design likes and love for design instead of what others say is what it should be. Either way I hope that you enjoy some of my thrifted inspiration behind our Christmas decor this past season as well and I'm looking forward to sharing more of that with you in 2026 along with more DIY's!

Stay tuned for more!

xx

Sandra
